WindowMizer 6 Released

Today is the day! WindowMizer 6 is finally released. We be monitoring the new website and making tweaks throughout the coming days/weeks. Please check back for more details.

Needless to say, things did not go as well as planned today. The plan was to stop subscriptions from renewing – so that customer’s are not auto-billed when their subscription comes-up for renewal.

Unfortunately, when I did that, both Paddle and my old store (built on OpenCart) sent an email to everyone, and to make matters worse, the email from the old store said the subscription was DELETED instead of CANCELED. The word “Deleted” is just bad terminology… what CANCELED means is that the subscription is still valid until the next renewal date. Existing licenses should work as-is with no action needed by the user until their subscription expires.

So, after the email blast went out, I could not retract it, and I was forced to move the release date to today… the cat was out of the bag!

Anyways, I sincerely apologize for the upgrade pains… I feel it too. If you have any issues regarding orders, license codes, upgrades, etc… please use Contact Us and we will happy to resolve any issues.

Regarding orders and the User Account Dashboard, it is not always correct. I am still working to cleanup data after the Opencart to WooCommerce migration, so please be patient.
