What the heck is WindowMizer?

In short, WindowMizer is the latest incarnation of the famous WindowShade extension for Mac OS®.

A long time ago, there was a WindowShade feature built into the Mac operating system that would allow a user to minimize a window in-place – simply by double-clicking the titlebar of a window. Ah, the good ol days!

Long story short, the feature was eventually removed from the OS by Apple®. Fortunately, other developers stepped-in to keep the feature alive. Read the History of WindowShade article for more details.

After other developers ended their support, I decided to take on the challenge and began developing WindowMizer!
