WindowMizer Help
This is the help book for WindowMizer. The same help book can also be accessed from within the WindowMizer app via the Help Menu.
Classic vs Dynamic Title Bars
You can choose to set Classic Title Bar style for Finder placholders and set Dynamic Title Bar style for other application placeholders or vice versa!
This means that Finder window placeholders (using Classic style) would always use the thin title bar strip, and other application placeholders could still use the dynamic style title bar.
Furthermore, other (non-Finder) applications can be individually set to use either title bar style. So it is possible to have most placeholders (with the exception of a few specific apps) use the Classic thin title bars, and use the Dynamic title bar style for only a few “choice” apps.

Multiple Displays and Dynamic Wallpaper
If your Desktop wallpaper uses a dynamic image that animates, or if you show a photo gallery as your wallpaper background, you may experience a temporary “freeze” when reducing and restoring windows.
This freeze is caused by WindowMizer’s use of an overlay window to hide the System’s genie animation. The overlay window takes a static snapshot to cover the animation, and when the overlay is removed a brief moment later, the real desktop wallpaper animation has already progressed, so it may visually appear as a jump or a momentary freeze.
The only known work-around is to not hide the genie animations. When System genie animations are not hidden, WindowMizer does not use an overlay, so that should prevent the freeze. The trade-off is that the genie will be visible.
To disable system genie animations, go to WindowMizer Settings > General > System Related panel, and check the box for “Disable Screen Capture Kit in WindowMizer“.
