Thumbnail Grid

Thumbnail windows can optionally be placed on an imaginary grid when a thumbnail is created. Enable Arrange along: and configure the options below.

Thumbnail Grid (imaginary)

The thumbnail grid fills with thumbnails as new thumbnails are created. Each thumbnail is positioned in the next available (unoccupied) grid cell.

When a thumbnail is restored it free's the cell it used to occupy, and the next thumbnail will position itself in the first available cell within the grid.

When a thumbnail is manually moved out of it's imaginary cell, the cell becomes available for new thumbnails. A thumbnail can also be moved back onto the grid by positioning it within the cell it should occupy.
